In today’s society, we often shy away from conflict - or it quickly turns hostile. But in a vibrant democracy, open and controversial debate is not just valuable, it’s essential.
In an age of populism and fake news, many of us are missing the tools we need: the ability to listen with empathy, to respond thoughtfully, and to recognize the deeper intentions behind disagreements. In this interactive workshop, Eva Feldmann-Wojtachnia will explore the foundations of a healthy culture of debate and guide participants through practical exercises to strengthen their communication skills. An engaging event by the Streit/Förderer project.
